Today we reviewed the syllabus, work habits scoring and rules for the classroom. I reminded students again that they each need to have a sketchbook for this class and that it should have at least 70 pages. Prior to my instruction I am requiring each student to complete three preliminary drawings so we can assess progress that will be made throughout the semester. Today we started on the first of the three.
Portrait - a painting, drawing, photograph, engraving, etc. of a person, especially one depicting only the face or head and shoulders.
